The location was perfect for what we were looking for The staff were lovely and very helpful with extending our stay and booking a taxi for us. We will be back

We had a really lovely time, the staff made our 25th anniversary extra lovely.., they are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.. our evening meal was really gorgeous and the breakfast was very good too, especially as I tend to order my eggs very well done and my husband likes his sunny side up, and his tend to come out like mine....thank you for a lovely stay

I’m been staying here for years and always great , food is amazing and the head barman ( I forget his name ) is just the best nothing is a trouble for him

Quiet, clean room, friendly staff. Good breakfast choice. Easy parking and relaxed atmosphere. Good sized bathroom and a bedroom with a window that can be opened for some fresh air.

The pillows were hard which might suit some people but not us. At least one medium and one soft would be great. Otherwise it would have got 5 stars

Very relaxed atmosphere with welcoming friendly staff. Food was delicious with varied menu. We would definitely stay again

Beautiful hotel. Everywhere was clean and well maintained. Lots of parking. Good sized double room with all the essentials for a short stay, toiletries, wardrobe, kettle etc. Powerful shower over the bath. Food was excellent in the bar and reasonably priced. Breakfast was superb, self service for cereal, toast, pastries, fruit and table service for hot breakfasts. It was delicious and plenty of it. Breakfast was served in the old church which has been beautifully restored and has a museum on the top floor. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

My only issue is the hard mattress on the bed, i have back problems and need a softer mattress, so not a gr8 night's sleep.

Close to a variety of tourist attractions, would be great if the old church visitor centre opens again

The staff in the hotel were very friendly and chatty and advised lots of activities when planning our days. Will be back, thank you.

Excellent staff really lovely people A girl with dark and blonde hair in the bar and a man with glasses both looked after me incredibly well they made my stay enjoyable

Only negative my room was right beside the door towards reception which obviously woke me up hearing people go in and out after a 4hr drive down I needed a lie on haha that would be the only negative

The hotel was fantastic and the staff were so helpul and friendly.. Food was excellent. Made us feel right at home. Definitely would 100 percent ecommend.

Lack of air conditioning in the room. Normally would not be a problem but the weather was abnormally hot when we stayed with you.
