Booking Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions constitute a binding legal agreement between you (the guest) and An
Grianán Hotel (“the Hotel”, “we”, “us”).
By making a booking, accessing our website or staying at the Hotel, you confirm that you have
read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Website Use Agreement
The Hotel reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will
take effect immediately once published on our website. Your continued use of this website, our
booking systems or our services confirms your acceptance of the most recent version of these
Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use this website or proceed with a booking.
Guests are advised to retain a copy of these Terms for their records.
Age Policy
Guests must be 18 years of age or older to make a booking. Where a guest is under 18, a parent
or legal guardian must consent to the booking and to the use of the Hotel’s services. By
proceeding, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Bookings & Rates
All bookings are subject to availability. A valid credit or debit card is required to secure a
reservation. Rates are quoted in Euro (€) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Certain
promotional or advance purchase rates are non-refundable and non-transferable, as clearly
indicated at the time of booking.
Payment
Payment terms vary by rate plan and will be confirmed at the time of booking. The Hotel reserves
the right to pre-authorise or charge the card provided prior to arrival. Any outstanding balance must
be settled before departure.
Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise stated in your rate plan:
Reservations must be cancelled by 3:00pm (local time),
48 hours prior to scheduled arrival to avoid a charge. Late cancellations will incur a charge of one
night’s accommodation plus VAT. All cancellations must be made directly with the Hotel, quoting
your booking reference. Cancellations after check-in are non-refundable. Advance purchase rates
and deposits are strictly non-refundable.
No-Shows
Failure to arrive without prior cancellation will be treated as a no-show and charged in accordance
with the applicable rate policy.
Changes or Cancellations by the Hotel
While every effort is made to honour all confirmed bookings, the Hotel reserves the right to amend
or cancel reservations where necessary. Where possible, we will arrange alternative
accommodation of equal or higher standard in the same area. The Hotel shall not be liable for
compensation where changes or cancellations arise due to circumstances beyond our reasonable
control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, fire or flooding, civil unrest, industrial
disputes, war or terrorist activity.
Check-In & Check-Out - Check-in: 3 PM Check-out: 12 PM
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to behave respectfully and comply with Hotel policies. The Hotel reserves the
right to terminate a stay without refund where guest behaviour causes disturbance, damage or
poses a risk to other guests, staff or property.
Alcohol Policy
Alcohol purchased off the premises is strictly prohibited within the Hotel at all times, unless prior
agreement has been granted by Hotel management. For the safety and comfort of all guests, An
Grianán Hotel operates a responsible alcohol service policy.
Management and staff reserve the right to refuse the sale or supply of alcohol at any time where,
in their reasonable judgement, a guest or customer has reached their alcohol consumption limit,
appears intoxicated or may present a safety or behavioural risk.
This policy applies to all bars, lounges, function rooms and public areas of the hotel.
Events & Noise Awareness
An Grianán Hotel operates as a multi-purpose venue and regularly hosts weddings, dinner dances
and special events which may involve live music and entertainment. Guests not attending events
should be aware that noise levels may be higher than normal in certain areas of the Hotel on event
dates. Guests who prefer quieter room locations are encouraged to notify the Hotel at the time of
booking or at least 48 hours prior to arrival. While we will make every reasonable effort to
accommodate such requests, room allocation is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
By proceeding with a booking, guests acknowledge and accept that: Event-related noise may
occur on certain dates and The Hotel cannot accept responsibility for disturbance where advance
notice has been provided and reasonable steps have been taken to minimise disruption.
Guests are welcome to contact reception in advance regarding scheduled events so we can assist
with room allocation where possible.
Damage, Loss & Liability
Guests are responsible for any loss or damage caused to Hotel property during their stay.
The Hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings, except where liability is
required by law.
Complaints Procedure
If you experience an issue during your stay, please notify a member of Hotel staff immediately so
we may attempt to resolve it.
If the issue remains unresolved:
A written complaint should be submitted to our Front Desk within
28 days of departure, including full details of the complaint together with the name of the member
of staff to whom the complaint was reported. We aim to acknowledge and respond to complaints
within 5 days of receipt.
Accessibility
The Hotel endeavours to accommodate guests with accessibility requirements. Guests are
encouraged to contact the Hotel directly prior to booking to confirm specific needs.
Privacy & Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable Data Protection legislation, including
GDPR.
